
Led by Lindholmen Science Park together with the City of Gothenburg, the University of Gothenburg, Skanska Industrial Solutions, White Arkitekter and Älvstranden Utveckling, the project has now received funding from Formas through ShiftSweden. A physical testbed in Gothenburg will explore how circular mass flows can create softer waterfronts, new aquatic habitats, climate protection and public landscapes.
Flemming joins the expert group with more than two decades of experience working across architecture, landscape, infrastructure and climate adaptation, and with a particular interest in how large material and territorial systems can become drivers of ecological transformation. This includes Flemming's experience from Regenerative City Dokken in Bergen, where the transformation of an industrial harbour was conceived as a new relationship between urban development, landscape and fjord.
